After their traditional winter break, ALVORADA are back with their first gig of 2024. This year promises to be an busy one for the band, with numerous exciting performances already lined up, and a new album release on the horizon. And what better way to kick things off than with a gig at their home from home, The Harrison. Expect a classic Alvorada show, bursting with vibrant rhythms, soulful melodies and exhilarating interaction.

ALVORADA play original Brazilian instrumental music inspired by choro. They have performed at festivals and venues across the UK and beyond, including sell-out shows at the London Jazz Festival, Pizza Express Live and Paris International Choro Festival. Their critically acclaimed debut album ‘First Light’ (★★★★★ Songlines), led to awards for Best Brazilian Band at the Latin UK Awards and Focus Brasil Awards in 2019. They have also been featured on BBC Radio 3 and Jazz FM. Alvorada’s second album ‘Faz Tempo’ will be released in autumn 2024.
